Low river, so could get further in. Caught all dace by float. Heard others catch chub and barbel but was quiet all day until 5pm. Beats 3+4 were difficult to access as there were only a few pegs.

Did get onto the water until 12 and was fishing from rowing boats. Spin and lure fishing was used by all angles. 5cm lures ended up being the only thing to catch with the fish taking tight up against the banks. All fish caught were under 1lb with a couple of bits which seems to be from larger fish
All fish were released with excellent returns.

9 x trout 6-10 inches, Rusty Klinkhammer. Early morning visit with the water still very low. I saw no natural rises but prospecting with a small dull coloured dry fly brought a few up from the pools.
