Only one angler fished late evening only. Another cold evening with showers but light wind. Late hatch of brook duns ensured a late evening rise throughout the beat. Plenty of good fish showing - a brace caught and returned in the glooming.

The weather held up better than expected. The river was running clear. Parked at the lower end of the beat and worked my way up to the junction with the Senni.
All fish caught on CDC emerger patterns, mainly because I couldn’t tell what they were eating. Hatches came from early afternoon onwards picking up as the drizzle picked up. Stunning section of river.
