River up 2mts, coloured and dropped all day. Not many areas to fish due levels but plenty of bites especially early on. As always, lovely venue with great views and wilderness

River in better condition today with most of the debris restricting itself to the far bank flow. 3 of the barbel came within a 1 hour period around mid day.

Not a good day for fishing. River had risen significantly overnight and a cold night too. Think we were lucky to have anything at all. The barbel was the only bite … a fish of about 7 lb on the feeder.

Directions were easy to follow and found the river rising and so choice of swims was limited. However we found a suitable area where 2 of us could fish. Ended up with Barbel to just over 8lb. A superb days fishing.

River rose well over a metre during the day-lots of floating debris, some very large.
Despite difficult conditions fish, including an eel, caught on inside line on pellet.
