Beautiful beat, plenty of fish about. Wading staff a must!. Indicated footpath to the upper part of beat needs correcting….their seems to be no path to the river or along it on the left bank. Only access by the parking area and footbridge at the top of this beat. Once we did start fishing however, the pocket water and runs were productive. Lovely calm clear day; most fish on nymphs and some took drys amidst a hatch early afternoon.

Fished the upper end of beat. Fish caught in run off pools of faster water.
Biggest grayling was 13oz.
I shall certainly return in the winter when bankside vegetation has died back.
