I haven’t fished here for some time but had a pleasant five hours fishing a falling and slowly clearing river.
No salmon seen but the resident OOS brownies persistently smacked salmon tubes in the streamier water, a couple around two pounds or so.
A small family of otters provided entertainment ,fishing the opposite bank of the bottom pool.

River had good colour & was pushing through looked like it had dropped overnight as banks were treacherous started in the cattle drink swim & hooked a Barbel after a couple of hours witch came off, cast back to the same spot & hooked another one soon after which put up an awesome fight all quiet after so moved down to the bottom field where the Chub were in residence, a lovely sunny day, love coming here stayed until sunset in the hope the Barbel would feed again, all fish caught on feeder tactics with Robin red pellets
