River was pacey with a tinge of colour. A few decent pegs to choose from and was surprised to find the fishing was quite slow. Pellets the best bait and the best barbel was 8lb 9oz.

River looking great but fish not feeding but I had one barbel just under 11 lbs which made it all worthwhile.
Lovely stretch.

Not an ideal day due to the strong sun.

If parking in the upper section be careful. The parking area is adjacent to a pile of rubbish and there are a number of nails spread around.

Sunny almost windless day, river running at a nice level and quite clear.

We trotted maggots all day, fishing the whole beat picking off odd fish in each accessible spot.

The grayling were had to find but we kept moving and picking off the odd one, the trout were unavoidable though.

15 Trout, 14 Grayling
