We didn't arrive until late morning due to unforseen circumstances so probably missed our best chance, that's our excuse anyway.it was our first time at this venue and the scenery was wonderful.it was probably a bit too hot and bright for optimum conditions.Maybe if we had a boat and could have got out to the middle things may have been different. We tried numerous nymphs and buzzers and even pulled a streamer through but no luck.

Excellent day as ever at Lyepole. Fish were going for dries all day. Best of the bunch caught on the top part of the beat past the bridge in the deep pool, rising to a March Brown upright. Beautiful!
