Beat:On Grayling fishing at Glanwye
Fishing:All Species (in season)
2 rods: Plenty of grayling to 2lbs (not sure how many exactly but dozens) plus a couple of 4lb chub trotting maggot with avons and centrepin. Lovely day's fishing after so much rain over the last month.
Booked Saturday using online system for the first time, found it straightforward and effective.

Beat:On The Bell at Skenfrith!
Fishing:All Species (in season)
Stared lovingly at the river, but it was in full rip-roaring, red silt-laden spate and therefore far too dangerous to fish. It rained all day Sunday and Monday.
Very disappointed as a result.
That said - The Bell at Skenfrith was exceptional - our room fabulous and the service and food phenomenal.
The service and advice sought and offered by the Foundation team has been great - thank you. Just hope we can reorganise the fishing. Many thanks.

Beat:2009 Autumn River Walk
Fishing:All Species (in season)
Now we've dried out, we just wanted to say how much my wife and myself enjoyed our first Riverwalk last Sunday. The last minute running about done by your staff so that we might see something must have been manic.
We look forward to coming along next year when hopefully the weather might be DRY!
