17th July Holme lacey caught 4 barbel and 4 chub again on pellet. Miserable weather and the river rose a foot in the space of a couple of hours.

Tues 14th, 10 Trout caught between us, 2 at 14 inches one trout kept for the table. Fish were caught on either para adams, or Gold head P.T fished NZ style.
Thurs 16th, 8 small trout caught one very large fish lost around the 3lb mark. Again fish taken on para adams or PT nymph. had lots of fish rising to the dry. River was a little high and coloured from all the rain the day before. A group of canoiest where were moving up the river from the prommade through the beat around lunch time!!!

16th July Whitehouse caught 7 barbel to 9lb and 4 chub to 4lb all on pellet.
Weed,trees,crash helmet and rubber rings all passed by.

8 Barbel from Backney up to 8Lbs on 16th July, also on trout pellet. Packed up about 5pm due to torrential rain.
Had a few Chub as well but only counted the main target Barbel. A couple of Eels about 18 inches long decided they liked pellet as well.
