Lovely streatch, a good mix of pools, slow sections with deeper channels. Lots of fish rising in the later evening. Olives proved successful. River conditions good, still plenty of water.

only managed a few hours mid afternoon to early evening. fished the waterworks end up for a bit. water seemed higher and more coloured than previous visits. a few small hatches coming off the water and the odd fish rising. no fish caught but a couple of missed opportunities. need to go fishing more often

5 little fellas and a few more expressions of interest. All in sight of the bridge.
Smart new fencing below the bridge does restrict entry: There is open access at the ford, then by the next hedge line. You then have a new gate 3/4 of the way down . You could get over the older wire along the brook at the end of the beat to work back, however take something to protect your waders! Access is easier above the bridge.
