Blank. Worked the beat hard on a day which began with rain, then warm mists and finally blazing sunshine, but no takes. It's amazing how overgrown the top end has become in the last few weeks; take a cutlass or at least a stick to fight your way through the popper weed.

Beautiful secluded fishing. Spent an hour or so and had 2 trout to 10inches on a size 20 klinkhammer. Access and casting are both very difficult but well worth the effort required.

Arrived at 4pm river 0.52m and very clear. Beautiful evening. Fished from 5pm till dark. A couple of fish showed by fallen tree and a sea trout (approx. 3 lb) leapt out of the water below Chine. No offers and no evening rise.
