It was an extremely hot day with the sun blazing down, fishing with the pellet, we had no bites, then exchanged to sweet corn and caught chub. We both caught eels on sweet corn. We will be back when there is a little more colour in water. A fantastic venue.

Blanked. Plenty of fish activity and the place was swarming with all sorts of flies, but after trying every fly in my box, without a single pull, I decided to call it a day.

This was a new beat for me - nice to be able to get it on a WUF ticket. Excellent access, by Welsh sea trout fishing standards; the main beat car park is practically in the river by the Railway Bridge pool. River extremely low and air temperature stayed hot almost till dawn. Not an easy night, although some very good fish showed. One modest sewin of about 2 pounds on a Weapon of Mass Destruction (somebody had to come up with a fly with that name) fished deep and late.

One brown trout of half a pound. Diawl Bach. That was in the early morning. No fish in the evening; the river was significantly higher in the evening, with some splashy rises, but not much.

Fished on ledger using worm. Returned one brown and one rainbow both under size and looking healthy. 4 fish in bag, all rainbow 3 in perfect fin condition, 1 with stubbed left fin. Water condition was excellent, no rubbish around bank and excellent parking. The warden was very friendly and quick to check permit. Due to inconvenient problems only managed five hours fishing would think that if I was there all day would have reached bag limit. Will be returning soon hopefully for a full day!

Blank. This was really due to conditions though as we were over fish and could see them. Nice beat with plenty to go at in the low water. As it was our last day of the trip we headed back before 7pm for a social. Great week and great locations. We'll be back. Thank you all.

It was our last day guided by Adam Fisher. Great week and brilliant to finish on a few fish considering the tough, low and clear conditions. Lovely beat and good access, plenty of swims. All in all a great few days and fantastic fishing/service. Thanks to the Foundation for everything see you next year!

Sighted 2 good sized trout together in deep pool but failed to catch, was a very hot day and although I didn't start until 7pm nothing seemed to be taking. More trees down across stream making some places very difficult to pass.

Fished from first light until 10ish. River very low. All fish caught before 9.00am. Touch ledger pellets, corn and spam all did the trick. Enjoyed this beat.
