River was high with lots of debris coming through. It dropped rapidly throughout the day. Despite the challenging conditions we had a good catch of Barbel up to 7lb.

River well up and banging through, took one look and decided to give it a miss and rebook on next section down where much more fishable. Maybe someone with more skill and heavier leads could have managed, but that's not me I'm afraid.

River well up so finding fishable spots a bit tricky. Covered the whole section and managed a few nice fish. The barbel was 8lb 2oz and Chub was 4lb 10oz, the other was 3 large eels which I didn't weigh. Did lose a couple of barbel to hook pulls, one right at the net that looked bigger than the one I caught, which was a bit gutting. Only meat worked today, couldn't get a bite on anything else. Lovely section though, good parking and access.

The river is dropping quickly but remains high, making it tough to hold bottom. We mainly fished with meat and caught a few eels as well. Our spot was just downstream of the water treatment site.

2 Barbel, 1 Chub, 3 Other
