River fining down nicely and showing 0.82 at Ross gauge .Steady all day with all fish caught on krill pellet and halibut pellet and crumb feeder. Barbel both around 6lb, chub 3 lb. Only fished lucky stones as others in lower field.
Great day, nice colour to the river and good to be back on Fownhope. Been too long since my last visit here. Access easy and plenty of choice and always chances of fish.

Perfect fishing conditions today with overcast sky and river fining down nicely,surprisingly the fishing was a bit slow but we did manage a few in the end.Still enjoyed the day on this fantastic beat.

A great day’s fishing on al lovely fishery. A very long section but able to drop off gear before parking. Only two anglers due ill health.
4 barbel caught one weighing 12lb and verified, this was a personal best for Pat. 2 chub caught also

Lovely stretch of water . We fished in the open field , several nice swims with good access . Caught fish on meat - mostly around the middle of the day with the river level falling . Barbel was 6.5 lbs , chub 2 to 3 lbs .
